Director

Joey is the leader of Lakeshow, a family business started in 2005. His coaching resume includes stops as the Head Coach at Prolific Prep where his team included Houston Rockets’ star Jalen Green. He also served as a graduate assistant for Eric Musselman at the University of Nevada Reno.

Joey played high school ball for San Ramon Valley and at Master’s University in Santa Clara, where he scored 1000+ points. He also played 2 seasons in Europe professionally. As a coach, Joey is a master talent evaluator and skills developer. He and his wife have two children and live in Danville. He’s the coach of 13U Fuca.

Head of Operations

Josh was an all-league center at The Abington Friends School outside of Philadelphia, where he played AAU for Sam Rines and with Kobe Bryant. He was then recruited to play for Amherst College where he was a starter and co-captain under Naismith Hall of Fame Coach David Hixon. Josh was the starting center on the U.S. Jewish National Team at the Maccabiah Games in Israel and Argentina three different times.

After two decades leading marketing and operations teams in Silicon Valley, Josh returned to his basketball roots at Lakeshow. His son Noah plays for 13U Blaisdell.

Girls Director

This former tech entrepreneur found his true calling after coaching his kids — and has never looked back. Now with 15+ years of coaching experience, Bill has helped develop 2000 athletes at top programs including De La Salle, Campolindo, and is now the assistant coach for SRV Girls Varsity. In 2014, he founded Level Up Basketball, which later merged with Lakeshow.

As Girls Director, he's grown the program to 100+ female hoopers in the 1st year! Coach's impact reaches beyond The Bay through his online coaching community – with 200,000+ members – and his "Coaching Youth Hoops" podcast.

Head Coach

Christian had a stellar career at San Ramon High School where he was a state champion, and all-league in both basketball and football. He then moved on to play both sports at Concordia University.

Christian played for Lakeshow throughout high school and has now coached at the program for 8 years. Currently the Head Coach for 9U Fuca, 11U Fuca, & 14U Fuca.

Coach Duckett is currently the Head Coach for 12U Ducket, 11U Duckett, AND 11U Girls Ducktter. Darne had a stellar playing performance as a D3 All-American at Whitman & Redlands College.

He’s also a Lakeshow alum!

Head Coach

Born in San Francisco and raised in Oakland, Coach Crawley played high school ball at Oakland Technical. He was then recruited to the College of Alameda where he was number 1 in 3-point shooting in California, beginning the season shooting 73%.

Coach Crawley graduated from Mira Costa College and is also currently coaching at Head-Royce.

Mike starred Newark Memorial High School before getting recruited to play D1 for Georgia State. He finished his playing career at Cañada College.

Mike is also a Lakeshow alum and the host of our Monday Clinics. Mike is the head coach for 12U Pickney!

Steiv was an All-League player at Downey High School. He was then recruited to play at Dominican University where he was again voted All-Conference. 

Steiv has 20 years' experience coaching and training athletes. With 15 years(!) of experience at Lakeshow, he’s our longest-tenured staff member outside Joey and Christian Fuca.

Coach Bri, a Saint Mary's College basketball alum and Carondelet graduate, brings high-level playing experience and dynamic coaching energy to our program.

After spending the past 3 years developing players across all age groups, she combines her collegiate playing background with a passion for teaching the game. She’s the head of coach of 12U Simonich.

Brandon hooped at Garfield High School and San Ramon Valley High School, before continuing his career at Diablo Valley Community College and the University of Hawaii.

His coaching experience includes positions in Germany and Australia. He was also a member of Lakeshow's very first team!

Shareef played hoops for Encinal High School and ran track, including the 100M, 200M, and relays.

He’s also been bowling since he was 2 years old with a career best of 270.

Sun was born and raised in Hawaii and played for Punahou School and helped lead them to a league championship.

He’s had coaching stops at various AAU programs, including the Alameda Vipers and Team Arsenal.

Coach Sun graduated from BYU and received his masters from Georgia Tech.

Coach Okotie played varsity all 4 years at Grossmont High School in Southern California. He was then recruited to play for San Diego State, before finishing his collegiate career at Liberty.

He was also a member of the Nigerian National Team, winning a bronze medal at the All Africa Games in 2003.

Coach has 3 sons currently playing for Lakeshow.

Head Coach

Coach Monroe starred at Inderkum High School in Sacramento, and was recruited to play for Seattle University before transferring to Azusa Pacific. 

He played overseas for 3 years in Australia, and has coached at Lakeshow for 2 seasons. Plus Coach Monroe's son plays for 10/11U Monroe!

Head Coach

After a stellar AAU and high school career in Los Angeles, Coach Howard moved on to play D1 for Seattle University.

During the day, she is a successful attorney at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office before coming back over the Bay Bridge to lead both 12U and 14U Howard teams on the Girls’ side.

Ken is a great coach for our 10U & 11U Danville teams. Former player at Envision Academy in Oakland. Redshirted at Merritt College & finished his undergrad at the University of Arizona.

Coach Ma worked as the student manager and analytics analyst for the Babson College Men’s team, before graduating and joining Lakeshow.

He’s currently the coach of 10U Ma on the girls side, and the assistant for 9U Okotie for the boys.

Currently our head coach for 11U & 13U Tillman teams. Chance is a former player at St Joes HS in Alameda. 3 year Lakeshow Head Coach. Amazing demeanor & leader with the boys!

Head Coach

Alonzo was a De La Salle graduate, where he was MVP in 2021. He was a McDonald’s All-American nominee, and won the North Coast Section D1 championship. He played 2 years at Cal Poly Humboldt.

Zo is a Lakeshow Alum, and in his first year of coaching won 2 big tournaments. He is a skills trainer and a strength/youth development coach—and a father.
